My Quest for Pictures

by Jerry on December 2, 2008

Jerry at the microphoneWhen I’m not at the microphone, writing, wrenching, or wiring things up, I love to take pictures. I don’t have as much time for that these days as I used to, but I still love to create images. There certainly are plenty of potential “Kodak moments” around here! ( Or should I say, SanDisk, Kingston, etc.?)

First of all, I need to thank our son, Jesse, who helped us get started in the first place with this blog and has been a cornucopia of tips, advice, and even a few downright rescues. Jesse now has his own business developing or helping people develop their own web sites. Jesse specializes in WordPress, which is a free, web publishing platform. He also does graphics design to help you brand your web site or blog.

Jesse suggested that I try a plugin called NextGEN to see if I liked how it displayed the pictures. I’ve been very happy with it. In fact, after using it for a while, I tried another tool for displaying pictures and quickly went back to NextGen.

I hope that you enjoy the pictures, and more importantly, that our content clearly communicates our passion for this radio ministry and for sharing Christ with the people of the Bay Islands.
