We have been having a great time in Tampa and other near-by places!
Two days this past week, we were at the Bible Basics International (BBI) home offices in Odessa getting our display board up-dated and it’s looking good. It’s ready for the two churches where we will be sharing about our ministry next Sunday.
We also talked with two of the Small Group Bible Studies from Oakwood, a supporting church. There was birthday cake at the first group and the second group had a carry-in potluck supper — yummy, lots of good food!!
After having supper with Jesse & Kristin on Thursday, we had more birthday cake — sounds like a food theme going here, doesn’t it – (smile). Friday and Saturday found us meeting (and sometimes eating) with three more couples who support our work at Radio HRGS.
Jerry and Jesse planned some time for male bonding today after church at the AirFest at MacDill Air Force Base. The weather didn’t cooperate though, so they chose to go to a movie together instead. I’ve been catching up on laundry, dishes, email and surfing the web.
So now we’re ready to face a new week and have a couple of sharing opportunities coming up and, of course, more eating too. We leave Tampa for the north-lands on March 31.
