What a Great Day for Snorkeling!

by Jerry on October 4, 2009

This will need to be quick again. It’s already past supper time. We had a good morning at church today. They had asked me to preach, so I finished chapter one of the series I’m working on in Philippians. What a great book! Then we kind of all split up.

Travis and Emily Mitten are still unpacking. But their girls REALLY wanted to go to the beach, and we had promised the other day to take them this afternoon. But then the funerals came about. I went to one up in Oak Ridge yesterday. It was for the father of one of my best island friends. Funerals here take a lllooonnnggg time. Then there was another one this afternoon for a long time listener. We didn’t want to break our promise to the Mitten girls, so since I went to a funeral yesterday, Mildred went to one today and I took the Mittens to the beach.

Wow! Did they ever enjoy that! I got to play with my underwater camera, but then I took it out of the housing and took some shots to show you what it looks like above water. You can see why they loved this beach. It is one of the top rated beaches in the world.

Hope you enjoy the pictures and they don’t make you so jealous that you stop praying for us. I need to get to the supper table now so I can get to bed on time. Four-thirty comes pretty early in the morning.

Hey Doug. Of course you can use them. I just sent you an email, too. Glad you liked the pix. I have others that I can send you if I know what kind you’re looking for. Not just snorkeling, but other critters too.
